Life Between Buildings

Life Between Buildings was published for the first
time in 1971. It has since been translated into many
languages, i.a. Chinese and Japanese. The 6th edition
of Jan Gehls classic work is now available.
The book is still the finest source available for comprehension
of the utilization of outdoor space and
life in our cities. It is required reading at many of
the worlds schools of architecture and is still regarded
as unrivaled for the most basic introduction to
the interplay between the outdoor environment and
social life.
